Angel Tree
The goal of Angel Tree is to minister to families of incarcerated persons and bring them the love and compassion of Christ while meeting needs and bearing burdens. There are opportunities to serve the children of incarcerated parents at community and campus-based activities.
Messengers of Christ - (MOC)
The primary focus and mission of the Messengers of Christ is to evangelize according to Matthew 28:19-20. The evangelism efforts include direct gospel presentations, partnerships with other BWFBC ministries to share the gospel, training, and encouraging the entire body to introduce others to Christ.
Boys Rites of Passage (B.R.O.P.)
The goal of B.R.O.P. is to equip boys and young men that are 11 through 17 years of age with spiritual and life skills toward making young disciples of Christ and to equip them with both the spiritual and physical tools to be successful in life.
Biblical Counseling
The mission of the Biblical Counseling Ministry is to assist and disciple individuals/couples experiencing various problems and concerns through biblical counseling. Our goal is to glorify God through the power of the Holy Spirit with biblical counseling to change lives, reconcile relationships, and build renewed hope in Christ Jesus.
Shepherding Ministry
The mission of the Shepherding Ministry is to strengthen those who are spiritually weak and lost; to demonstrate our love for Christ through serving, praying and encouraging others; to impact lives, and draw others for the glory of God.
Communications Ministry
The Communications Ministry reaches the congregation and our community through media platforms in order to inspire, inform, and invite participation in the life, mission, and purposes of the church. This is accomplished through worship, management of the cyber church, social networking, public relations, and other special projects. Opportunities to serve exist in these areas: website, blogging, signage, e-blasts, social media posting, and more.
Healthcare Ministry
The Healthcare Ministry provides health education, monitor vital signs, and administer screenings each year during an annual health fair. We monitor the weekly services on campus and support member hospital stays.
OneSource Bookstore
The purpose of OneSource Bookstore is to provide biblical-based resources and other quality products for the spiritual development and ancillary needs of the congregation and the community. Opportunities to serve exist in the following areas: inventory control, register operations, organize merchandise, and assist in store operations during business hours.
Safety & First Responders Ministry
The purpose of the Safety & First Responders Ministry is to provide a comprehensive plan of safety throughout the campus for members and visitors to Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church. Opportunities to serve exist in the following areas: Communication Coordinator, Monitoring Coordinator (Surveillance Monitors and Patrollers), Training Coordinator, Shuttle Bus Driver, Parking Traffic Controller, Greeter, and parking facilities for special events.
Parking Ministry
The purpose of the Parking Lot Ministry is to provide a pleasant experience for those who enter our campus and to ensure that both pedestrians and vehicles are safeguarded while they are on the church parking lot. Opportunities to serve exist in the following areas: Parking Traffic Controller, Greeter, Training Coordinator.
Transportation Ministry
The purpose of the Transportation Ministry is to provide shuttle bus services to individuals who have parked their vehicles at the elementary school located across the street from the church campus during ministry activities and events. Opportunities to serve exist in the following areas: Shuttle Bus Driver, Communication Coordinator, Greeter.
ONEPowerfulMovement (OPM)
ONEPowerfulMovement (OPM) is a faith-based organization created to impact the community with a biblical world view through educational and economic revitalization. The organization consists of the BWFBC Food Pantry which has the sole purpose of feeding people in need and giving them the love of Christ both in word and in deed. The organization offers services free of charge to the church and the community. OPM is a 501(c) (3) organization and is a partner of the Houston Food Bank.
